whats good for remote file storage?

sometimes im on my lan, sometimes im far away. i have a TB of storage on my server and im wondering whats the best, secure way to get at those files? preferable something that only goes through my router when im home, and something that isn’t easy to get into without a pass

    I say go with Flash Drives there really good, they come in many memory sizes such as 1GB - 16GB and up. They`re quick and removable, I definitely recommend one.
