Can I make a network with someone in Germany and have remote access to their computer?

My friend and I want to network between ourselves: share files, remote assist, etc. One of us is in Germany the other in the USA. Can we set up a network between us that will allow remote access at such distance? We would like to see what the other has onscreen and to be able to take control of the others pointer.

    Yes, as long as you both have broadband access. VNC will do it. ~

    You can also do it through windows live messenger and open a conversation window and select “actions” and “request remote assistance”
